Standing Up for Australian Investors
Supporting victims of financial misconduct through education, advocacy and reform.
SOS Save Our Super is an independent advocacy group supporting Australians whose retirement savings have been impacted by financial misconduct.
We help investors understand what happened, navigate complex complaint pathways, and stay informed about ASIC investigations, AFCA complaints, CSLR developments, court proceedings and government reforms. Through practical resources, step-by-step guides, news updates and community support, we empower people to make informed decisions and advocate for fair outcomes.
We also work to ensure the voices of investors are heard by government, regulators and the media, advocating for stronger consumer protections, meaningful reform and accountability across Australia’s financial services sector.
Together, we are fighting for justice, restoring dignity and working towards a fairer future for every Australian investor.

What happened to our retirement savings?
Many Australians have seen their retirement savings disappear following the collapse of First Guardian, Shield and Australian Fiduciaries, with losses estimated at up to $1.2 billion. Thousands of people who worked hard, saved diligently and sought professional financial advice now face an uncertain retirement through no fault of their own.
How can we collectively fight back?
We can unite to demand accountability from the companies and institutions that failed us. By raising funds, we can form a collective representation, engage legal support, and pursue litigation against those responsible for our losses.
What is the goal of our fundraising efforts?
We aim to raise $40,000 initially to establish a corporate structure that represents victims. Ultimately, we may need up to $5 million to pursue all responsible parties, ensuring that we seek justice and accountability for our lost savings.
How do I get Compensation?
Below you will find a link to the step-by-step process for filing an AFCA Complaint that guides you through the process of complaining about the inappropriate financial advice you were given.
How will the funds be utilised?
The funds will be used to create a corporate structure, hire competent advisors, lobby for support, and engage litigation funders. This will enable us to commence legal action on behalf of all affected members, ensuring our voices are heard.
What can individuals do to help?
Individuals can contribute to our fundraising efforts (we are not asking victims to contribute), spread awareness, and join our collective action. Every bit of support helps us in our fight for justice and accountability.
